Sticks & Stones is a long-term survival SMP built around a simple idea: create a Minecraft world worth keeping.

We're focused on building, progression, technical Minecraft, player trade, and community without turning survival into a heavily modified game.

Our world is permanent, with no scheduled resets or seasonal wipes. What players build matters. Bases, farms, infrastructure, shops, community projects, and technical builds are intended to remain part of the world for years to come.

🌎 Vanilla-First Survival

We try to preserve the parts of Minecraft that make survival worth playing in the first place.

There is no virtual economy, no /balance, and no admin shop generating money or setting prices. Trade happens with real Minecraft items through direct trading and player-operated shops.

PvP is based on mutual consent, while land claiming and rollback tools help protect legitimate builds and keep a permanent world practical.

Quality-of-life features are kept focused on things that make multiplayer more convenient without replacing normal survival progression.

⚙️ Technical Minecraft Is Welcome

Sticks & Stones runs on Paper for stability and performance, but we've deliberately configured the server to preserve vanilla mechanics and redstone behavior as closely as reasonably possible.

Vanilla redstone is a priority. TNT duplication and bedrock breaking are enabled.

Large farms, storage systems, flying machines, transportation networks, redstone contraptions, and other technical projects are welcome.

We also maintain dedicated Paper and Fabric creative testing servers so eligible players can develop and test complicated builds before committing the resources to constructing them in survival.

If a legitimate vanilla mechanic doesn't work correctly on the SMP, we'd rather investigate it and see if we can fix the configuration than simply nerf or prohibit it.

🏪 A Player-Driven Economy

The economy belongs to the players.

Players decide what resources are worth through supply, demand, production, and trade. Our organized marketplace uses player-operated Shopkeepers, but access to marketplace shops is earned through voting—not purchased from this store.

The same philosophy applies elsewhere on the server. We want participation to matter.

Players can contribute through community builds, infrastructure, events, games, shops, technical projects, and their own creations. We regularly look for ways to give players something meaningful to work toward without replacing Minecraft's normal progression.

🏆 Community & Events

Sticks & Stones isn't intended to be a server where everyone joins, disappears millions of blocks away, and never interacts again.

We host community events, competitions, builds, and games with in-game prizes, and players are encouraged to propose projects and events of their own.

Because the world doesn't routinely reset, today's community projects can become tomorrow's landmarks and server history.

The server is protected by a CyberPower UPS with automated power-loss handling, and backups are maintained separately from the live server data.

For a world intended to remain online long-term, reliability and protecting player progress are priorities.

Purchases from this store help cover the real costs of running, maintaining, protecting, and continuing to improve Sticks & Stones.

Paid ranks provide additional conveniences and server perks, but we're deliberately avoiding a model where purchasing a rank replaces normal gameplay or gives someone control over the player economy.

Some things are intentionally not for sale. Marketplace access is earned through voting, and the Builder rank is earned through reputation and staff trust.
